James Coles & Sons (Nurseries) Ltd will be holding their biennial open day, this time at their Syston Nursery.
The free event will take place on September 3 and is open for all to attend, although pre-registration is required.
It will feature a tour of the 60+ acre production side, networking opportunities, talks from various industry experts and a visit to a local craft brewery.
The open day will start at 9.30 and guests will spend the morning on a tour of the nursery, stopping at various stations for talks and demonstrations on a new and industry leading practises from guest and in-house experts.
These will include a demonstration of a new remote stock control system developed by TSD Automatisering and pioneered by Coles, a talk on the National Plant Specification and a demonstration from JCB of their new Teletruk machines.
Following the nursery tour, guests will be taken by coach to a local craft brewery for a tour, tasting and meal, before returning to Syston by 4pm.
