With Glee just a few months away, there has never been a better time for exhibitors to optimise their visibility before, during and after the show. Recognising this, the Glee team will be holding a special one day ‘workshop’ to help exhibitors, both new and old, learn about the opportunities available to them to have a profitable Glee 2014.
Exhibitors will have the choice of either a morning or afternoon session; taking place atGlee’s venue, the NEC, on Tuesday 15th July. The Exhibitor Workshops will be led by Glee event manager, Matthew Mein, as well as the show’s PR, brand management and operation teams. The day has been designed to update exhibitors on the show plans for 2014 and the wide range of marketing and PR opportunities available to all exhibitors to help optimise the show’s potential.
Information available to attendees will include details on the range of free promotional opportunities, such as taking part in Glee’s dedicated news release, features and preview programmes. Glee’s marketing initiatives will also be explained, highlighting key opportunities such as on-going promotional literature, web banners, and the VIP campaign to promote their participation in the show.
The workshop will also highlight additional benefits such as online opportunities at gleebirmingham.com. Glee’s onsite service providers, GES Global, will also be on hand to talk exhibitors through some of the cost effective solutions to stand build and design.
A special UK gardening and export Q&A webinar will also take place during the workshop. Run in association with the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to help celebrate its forthcoming UK garden and leisure report. The session will feature some well-known figures from the garden retail industry, who will be coming together to discuss the UK’s reputation and ongoing presence in the global garden retail industry. This is sure to be a not-to-be-missed event.
i2i’s Matthew Mein, Glee event manager said: “This will be the sixth year that we will run the workshops and every time the value of them is clear. The exhibitors who do the best at Glee are those that have planned and promoted themselves as much as possible in the lead up to the show. Recognising this we have developed these workshops to arm them with the tools to really make the most of their time at the show, meaning they can benefit from a significant return on their investment both now and throughout the year ahead.”
