Kicking off the retail buying season next January is Scotland’s Trade Fair from 21-23 Jan 2018, with a new layout and many enhanced features to make navigating and ordering even better for the thousands of shops that visit.
The new ‘block’ layout gives greater prominence to the Launch Gallery and Craft Gallery, both areas that research has shown are popular with buyers who are consistently looking for new, original products to stock. Showcase Scotland, the designated area for Scottish exhibitors, will be located at the front of the Show, allowing buyers easier and clearer navigation around the stands.
Independent research has shown that Scotland’s Trade Fair is one of the highest performing trade gifts shows in the country with visitors particularly impressed by the high quality and range of products available. As the only Scottish trade gifts show, it is a Show no independent retailer can afford to miss.
On the back of a steady retail summer season in Scotland, with retail sales up in Scotland in July (SRC figs), and an increase in tourists visiting the country, it looks like being a great Show. Already nearly two thirds of the Show has been booked with many new and established exhibitors.
Scotland’s Speciality Food Show will remain incorporated within the Show at the rear of the Hall, showcasing fine food and drinks.
In its new location, the Seminar Theatre will host many high profile experts sharing their knowledge and experience in fields such as social media, making videos, digital marketing and gaining reviews. The Best Product Awards will also be judged on the opening day of the Show.
