Paradise Park Garden Centre supports town academy

Paradise Park Garden Centre is helping Breakwater Academy in Newhaven to reward pupils who had achieved 100 per cent attendance in their school terms.

It approached Paradise Park Garden Centre, part of the family owned and operated Tates of Sussex group of garden centres, who stepped in to help with suitable gifts for the pupils aged between five and 11 that had a perfect record.

Sales director at the garden centre in Sussex Mark Gilbert said: “Tracey Fontaine from the academy contacted us recently with this idea and we were delighted to help out and encourage good attendance at school.”

Paradise Park Garden Centre is the original centre in the mini-group, first opening its doors to the public in 1989. Alongside the large garden centre, you will find some of the finest gardens in Sussex, with several small lakes, waterfalls, fountains and plant houses.
